Taleen lives far, far away.
But her roots are in Lebanon.
Warm man'oushe with za'atar.
“Sahtein!” says Teta.
Everyone holds hands and dances dabke.
Stamp, stamp, jump!
Jiddo lifts Taleen up high
to pick the sweetest figs.
«عمر هذه الأرزة ألف سنة»، تقول تيتا.
«جذورها عميقة… مثل جذورك.»
“This cedar is a thousand years old,” says Teta.
“Its roots go deep… just like yours.”

Back home, Taleen plants the seed.
Wherever I go, my roots come too.

Good to know
Who are your books for?
Children from 1 to 10, and the grown-ups they love. Where My Roots Grow, At the Zoo and Santa's Nice List for the little ones, Around the World with Santa, The Ramadan Lantern, a book for a new big sister or brother, and the Walk With Me heroes, from Gibran to Cleopatra. And I Love You, a love letter in a book for your wife or husband.
How do I make a personalised book?
Pick a book, type their name, choose how they look (or upload a photo) and add your family's details. You see every page before you pay, then we print it just for them.
Can you paint my child from a photo?
Yes. Upload one photo and we paint them into every page, in the book's own style, so they look like themselves all the way through. Private, and deleted after delivery.
Can I see the book before I pay?
Yes. You preview every page, with all the names and details you chose, before you add it to your basket.
How long does delivery take?
Printed just for your child and sent with tracking: about 7–10 days to the UAE, usually 10–14 days to other countries. We deliver worldwide, and delivery is free on orders over $100.
Which languages can I choose?
Arabic with English, French or Spanish. Both appear on every page, so the whole family can read it together.
Can I add my own message?
Yes. Every book has a dedication page for your own words.
How do I contact Toota Tales?
